Pianissimo

The reason for this video was the ascent of the Grosser Palvelhorn (photo) in the Berchtesgaden mountains. After a sudden change in the weather, we experienced absolute calm. The fresh snow swallowed every sound and muffled every noise. We climbed through a mysterious landscape that enchanted us with its pianissimo. (The video was supplemented with other snow pictures from the Hochkönig, the Hoher Göll and the Hohe Tauern.)

and captivates with its inherent magic.

Time outs have to be created again and again.

I withdraw from the stress and hustle and bustle of everyday life, leaving opinions, ideas and expectations behind me.

Nature is non-judgmental. It gives me space for my own dignity.

I have chosen the Bindalm, the Halsalm and the Lahnwaldhütte in the Berchtesgaden mountains as places of retreat.
